Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of Israeli military actions in Lebanon, where strikes have killed over 100 people just days after a US-brokered ceasefire took effect, highlighting the precarious state of regional de-escalation efforts.
In a sharply worded statement, Qatari officials criticised the continuation of violence, which has sent plumes of smoke over Lebanese towns and reignited fears of a broader conflict. The Gulf state, a key mediator in regional crises, called the attacks a blatant violation of ceasefire understandings.
“Unacceptable aggression”:
