Investigation Underway After Turkish Airlines Tyre Fire Incident:
Authorities at Tribhuvan International Airport have launched an investigation into the cause of the tyre fire. Technical teams are examining whether the incident was due to a mechanical issue, tyre burst on landing, or other factors.
The aircraft has been grounded pending safety inspections. Several flights at the airport faced delays as a result of the emergency response.
This is the latest in a series of aviation safety incidents at Nepali airports, which have come under scrutiny in recent years due to challenging mountainous terrain and infrastructure constraints.
