Safety Concerns Rise on Karachi-Keenjhar Tourist Route:
The Karachi to Keenjhar Lake route is a heavily travelled road, especially on weekends and public holidays, but has seen several serious accidents in recent years due to narrow roads, sharp turns, and heavy traffic.
Local authorities have previously urged stricter enforcement of traffic rules and better maintenance of the highway to prevent such incidents.
Keenjhar Lake, also known as Kalri Lake, is a major source of drinking water for Karachi and a protected Ramsar site, attracting large numbers of tourists and picnickers throughout the year.
This latest accident has once again drawn attention to road safety concerns in Sindh province as the summer tourist season begins.
