A Palestinian schoolgirl was killed in an Israeli strike as she made her way to take an exam, local authorities and witnesses reported, underscoring the severe disruption to education and daily life in the besieged enclave.
According to Palestinian officials and medical sources, the girl was among civilians targeted in the latest wave of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. She was reportedly walking or travelling to an examination centre when the strike hit, killing her instantly.
